📋 Description

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on bespoke and standard contracts for commercial transactions, including master services agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, and NDAs • Manage state entity filings, annual reports, and registered agent matters for US entities • Support corporate governance work • Work with the data privacy team on privacy and data protection issues, including US state privacy laws and GDPR, and data processing agreements • Provide day-to-day legal support to sales, engineering, operations, product, IT, marketing, HR, finance, and relationship management teams • Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and processes to help legal and sales teams close deals efficiently • Liaise with customers, suppliers, insurers, and external advisers in the US and internationally • Collaborate with the wider global legal team

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited US law school • Active license in good standing to practice law in at least one US state • Must be able to meet any in-house counsel registration requirements in the state of residence • 1–3 years of in-house experience • Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology, software, and SaaS agreements • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking on a broad range of matters • Experience supporting sales teams • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to weigh legal risk against business goals and provide practical, commercially minded advice • Strong attention to detail • Desirable: experience with intellectual property, privacy and data protection, information security terms, or employment law • Desirable: international experience
