📋 Description

• Maintain clinical application systems for pharmaceutical support services provided by pharmacy staff, Nursing, and other operational staff • Evaluate, design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot computerized pharmacy information systems • Serve as liaison to Virtua’s Clinical Pharmacy leadership and staff through the Clinical Informatics team • Perform daily routine maintenance of information systems related to Patient Medication Workflow and the Virtua Pharmacy Department • Coordinate and monitor system implementation and utilization • Support and troubleshoot computer-related needs at management’s request • Coordinate design, build, and implementation of routine database modifications • Assist with necessary system upgrades • Collaborate with Information Services and Change Management to maintain system integrity • Support emerging technology and reevaluate existing systems to incorporate new technology • Identify and use technologies and methods to maximize performance within Information Services and Virtua Pharmacy operations • Serve as the Information Services liaison to the customer base • Coordinate pharmacy operations, support staff, Clinical Informatics, and pharmacy system functioning • Provide 24x7 on-call support for Pharmacy and Patient Medication Workflow Related Systems

🎯 Requirements

• Active Epic Willow Ambulatory and/or Epic Willow Inpatient Certification or a clinical Pharmacy background required • 3+ years of experience in a hospital pharmacy role • Practical experience and formal training in a Pharmacy discipline • Knowledge of specialized drug naming conventions, pharmacy workflow, terminology, and hospital-based pharmacy operations • Knowledge of information systems terminology, information systems processing, and desktop solutions • Ability to set priorities and work independently • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree • Epic certified analysts preferred • Availability for Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm schedule • Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support for Pharmacy and Patient Medication Workflow Related Systems
