📋 Description

• Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, business definitions, and validation standards for key reporting and analytics data assets • Use SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to profile data, investigate quality issues, validate transformations, and confirm data readiness for business use • Partner with BI teams to ensure dashboards, reports, metrics, and curated datasets are supported by trusted and well-understood data • Monitor recurring data quality checks, identify anomalies, document root causes, and coordinate remediation with data owners and technical teams • Maintain metadata, data lineage, business glossaries, and data issue logs to improve transparency and usability of data assets • Promote data governance and stewardship best practices by educating stakeholders on data standards, ownership, and proper use of certified data

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, data quality, business intelligence, analytics, or data management • Strong SQL skills with experience profiling data, validating business rules, researching discrepancies, and supporting reporting accuracy • Hands-on experience with dbt, including data tests, documentation, lineage, model review, and transformation validation • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, data quality dimensions, and data lifecycle concepts
