📋 Description

• Provide customers a seamless support experience by phone and email • Submit applications to the carrier and own them through to approval • Help customers navigate the healthcare system and understand their options • Quickly identify and resolve issues when transactions or experiences don't go as planned • Document every phone call and email with members in Zendesk • Answer qualifying and benefit-specific questions • Provide scheduled phone and email coverage for members • Own each interaction from start to finish while working directly with carriers

🎯 Requirements

• Active, resident-state health & life insurance license • Direct experience enrolling individuals through Healthcare.gov or a state-based exchange (e.g., Covered California) • Background in a customer support or member-services environment (call center, help desk, or similar) • Clear, effective verbal and written communication • Patience, empathy, and composure under stress • Ability to apply insurance expertise to guide someone through signing up for coverage • Comfort working confidently inside a support ticketing platform • Licensed in multiple states preferred, not required • Fluent bilingual (Spanish especially) preferred, not required • Experience with Zendesk or a comparable support platform preferred, not required • Availability for 5 days a week, with no weekend coverage • Ability to work Shift A (9:00 AM–3:00 PM EST) or Shift B (3:00 PM–9:00 PM EST), depending on location
