📋 Description
• Enter into and maintain a Collaborative Practice Agreement / Nurse Protocol Agreement with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. • Conduct periodic chart reviews and co-sign documentation as required by Georgia regulations. • Review and sign off on medication management and prescribing documentation when applicable. • Be available for clinical consultation regarding patient care and treatment planning. • Provide general oversight and feedback to ensure high standards of psychiatric care. • Participate in periodic protocol review and quality assurance activities as required by state guidelines.
🎯 Requirements
• MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry • Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license • DEA registration preferred • Ability to enter into collaborative agreements with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners under Georgia law • Interest in supporting team-based psychiatric care • Prior experience working with NPs or in collaborative care settings preferred
