📋 Description

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support • Provide personal care and companionship in private residences or hotel recovery suites • Support post-operative recovery and long-term care assignments under the direction of a supervising nurse • Perform non-medical medication reminders only • Take and record vital signs when assigned by a licensed nurse • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or LVN • Assist with comfort measures, positioning, and safe patient transfers • Document care in accordance with Vitale Nursing, Inc. policies • Work under the supervision of an RN or LVN

🎯 Requirements

• Valid CNA Certification in California • Valid Home Health Aide certification issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) • Current BLS/CPR Certification • Reliable transportation • Professional, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Three professional references • Proof of Malpractice Insurance • Successful completion of a background check • Two forms of identification: Driver’s License/Passport and Social Security card • Physical exam and TB test within 1 year • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, or plan to obtain • Previous private duty home care experience preferred • Familiarity with post-operative recovery routines preferred • Experience supporting hospice and palliative care patients preferred • Prior CNA/HHA experience in home health or skilled nursing preferred
