📋 Description

• Optimize transportation and warehousing for capital equipment and DCFC network service parts • Lead efficient logistics operations for the national DC fast charging network and direct-to-consumer Electrify Home chargers, including fulfillment and reverse logistics • Develop annual operating budgets and establish strategic objectives and goals for the logistics department • Manage three large-scale third-party logistics providers, including shipment planning, execution, and warehousing • Lead and develop a team of 4 direct employees and 20+ indirect logistics professionals • Plan and execute company-wide logistics operations across 10 warehouse locations in the USA and Canada • Manage reverse logistics of failed parts and establish Forward Stocking Locations • Analyze and report supply-chain costs, logistics performance KPIs, and inventory to executive leadership • Track transportation-market trends and identify issues requiring cross-functional strategies • Develop supply-chain technology solutions for transparency and efficiency • Implement strategic initiatives to reduce total logistics cost and achieve annual savings targets • Direct strategic 3PL operations, conduct quarterly business reviews, and manage supplier KPI performance and penalties • Lead the cross-functional Inventory Review Committee and drive inventory reductions • Lead logistics quoting and budgeting for commercial proposals and Consent Decree projects • Ensure equipment traceability, cycle counts, receiving processes, and annual audit compliance • Support invoice receiving and payment processes • Prepare quarterly supply-chain expense forecasts and budgets • Report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain within Operations

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related area • Bachelors Degree • Extensive experience in global logistics and supply chain management • Proven experience leading logistics teams and initiatives • Leadership experience in leading and developing supply chain personnel • Subject matter expertise on logistics and inventory management • Expertise in global and domestic shipping (all modes- ocean, rail, truck, LTL, parcel) as well as import & export experience • Experience with budgeting and financial modeling methods & business case creation/presentation • Proven experience with financial and inventory audits, accounting, and reporting • Experience managing and negotiating contracts • Experience in effectively managing vendors and subcontractors • Understanding of project management techniques and methods • Leadership and team management skills • Communication skills – interpersonal, oral and written • Vendor and supplier performance management against contracts • Ability to perform complex analytical assessments • Influencing and negotiation skills • Complex problem solving & independent decision making • Resource management • Autonomy and initiative • Strong computer and software skills • High attention to detail • Demonstrated record of precision & integrity in past work assignments • Occasional business travel (1 to 2 x /month) to warehouses, suppliers, and corporate office • Participation in E-Verify and pre-employment substance abuse testing requirements
