📋 Description
• Analyze reagent/analyzer contracts for renegotiation leverage and conversion opportunities • Evaluate analyzer platform consolidation across 6 CHSLI hospitals • Review reference laboratory contracts (send-out testing, esoteric testing, genetics) • Assess blood bank utilization, product wastage, crossmatch ratios • Conduct POCT program reviews for consolidation and vendor standardization • Work with Lab Directors, Pathologists, Medical Directors, and Technical Supervisors
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years in clinical lab operations, lab supply chain, or lab management • 3+ years managing lab supply contracts (reagent/analyzer, reference lab, or blood bank) • Understands the reagent/analyzer interdependency model • Familiar with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission as they relate to supply decisions • Can speak the language of pathologists and lab directors
