📋 Description

• Service auto loan accounts. • Follow and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and the FDCPA. • Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers to obtain payment commitments and/or account reinstatement. • Offer suggestions, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures. • Review accounts for special assistance, including loan modifications and extensions, and gather required information/documents. • Initiate and review repossession efforts to recover collateral. • Document account information and collection activities accurately and professionally. • Conduct skip-tracing investigations using database searches and system records. • Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls through auto-dialing or manual telephone systems. • Maintain satisfactory work efforts on an assigned queue and meet or exceed daily and monthly goals. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ year(s) of experience in the collections field, preferably in the subprime consumer lending industry. • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations. • Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team. • Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed. • High School Diploma or GED. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. • Compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
