📋 Description

• Develop person-centered services and apply positive behavior supports • Develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals receiving services, and their families • Connect people to meaningful community activities • Manage developmental disability services programs in the Danville, Virginia regional area • Travel as needed within the regional area • Work from a home office with telecommuting flexibility

🎯 Requirements

• Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports • Ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals who receive services, and their families • Background connecting people to meaningful community activities • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required • At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) is preferred • Two years' experience supervising employees is preferred • Home office and internet access required • Active driver's license with a good driving record • Excellent references • Criminal background check with acceptable results • Employees are mandated reporters of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities
