📋 Description

• Associate Engineer responsible for technical success of WBD live and taped events • Assisting on-site Engineer-in-Charge for broadcast productions • Is a technology point person for studio and production control room productions • Provides tier 2 support, including troubleshooting wiring of studio cameras, set monitors, audio, lighting and ethernet connections • Participate in on-site and remote training on technical systems utilized for day-to-day operation • Clearly communicate amongst team and production staff • Create or update documentation for equipment inventory, status and workflows • Work with partners to satisfy their needs and requests • Serve as an information gatherer for Engineering team • Cultivate cooperative relationships between customers and Engineering staff • Provide daily reporting related to operational issues and/or Air impacting events • Assist in executing the development, testing and implementation of new systems, software and equipment • Create and maintain documentation • Maintain follow-up with appropriate parties to ensure resolution • With the guidance of Lead and Senior Engineers, implement production technology system repairs or upgrades

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ Years of experience in television, multimedia content, or broadcast maintenance • A four-year engineering degree (or equivalent work experience in Live Broadcast engineering field) • Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot and repair broadcast and computer equipment • Basic understanding audio/video signal flow and routing • Knowledge of computer desktop hardware/applications and data networking • DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (NOT MANDATORY): Knowledge of Intercom Systems used in production environments • Basic understanding of SMPTE 2110 Evertz Routing Systems and Magnum Control • CCNA Certification or Networking background • Cloud Technologies
