📋 Description

• Act as the trusted advisor and accounting department for Wave’s small business clients • Own bookkeeping accounts for clients within the portfolio to meet individual and team revenue targets • Use Wave’s software to import and categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, complete monthly bookkeeping, generate financial statements, and flag potential bookkeeping issues • Set appropriate expectations with clients and meet or exceed them • Meet with clients on recurring virtual calls to review their books • Explain accounting concepts in lay terms and answer bookkeeping-related questions • Provide exceptional customer service and build trusting client relationships • Demonstrate accounting expertise on review calls and respond to clients promptly via email • Collaborate with peers and support team members by sharing experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business • 0–2 years of general work experience • Previous experience in cloud accounting • Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skills • Stellar communication skills and ability to convey accounting concepts in lay terms • Critical attention to detail • Resourcefulness • Previous working experience with small businesses is a plus
