📋 Description

• Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution • Handle all aspects of discovery and litigation • Work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators • Work in a paperless environment using primarily digital documents • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Apply judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience • Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees • Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing • Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability • Excellent written and oral communication • Commitment to proactive case management • Experience in Merus or Litify is preferred but not required • Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams preferred but not required • Must submit a resume and cover letter • Must pass a background check prior to the first day of employment
