📋 Description

• Lead final review of complex loans, including multi-lien transactions and CEMA • Handle funding for complex transactions while ensuring a zero-error rate • Engage leadership to resolve complex title issues • Prepare and review closing disclosures, loan documents, and escrow instructions for compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines • Serve as a subject matter expert • Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and borrowers to facilitate closing • Ensure loan closing packages meet compliance standards • Verify final loan terms, fees, and funding details before closing • Collaborate with processing, origination, and post-closing departments • Collaborate with leadership, compliance, and legal teams on evolving regulations • Manage the full funding process, including wire requests, funding review, and authorization • Lead complex closing transactions and provide expertise on loan documentation, compliance, and funding • Maintain the loan pipeline, tasks, and objectives • Perform post-closing duties as needed • Prioritize assignments and manage workload to meet critical deadlines amid high-volume loan activity • Resolve escalations related to title, escrow, compliance, and funding • Contribute to a positive, accountable, diverse, inclusive, flexible, collaborative, and continuously developing work environment

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years mortgage loan closing experience; QC experience a plus • Proficiency in LOS systems, document preparation software, and closing platforms • Strong knowledge of closing guidelines • Experience training and mentoring • Understanding of state and federal lending regulations • Advanced working knowledge of federal and state regulations, including TRID and state-level disclosure requirements • Prior experience in retail mortgage loan closing • Customer-focused, business-centric, and team-oriented mindset • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organization • Excellent internal and external communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Openness to adapting to industry changes
