📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered virtual urgent care services through Jefferson’s On-Demand care platform • Conduct comprehensive virtual patient evaluations, including histories and telehealth-appropriate physical assessments • Order and interpret diagnostic studies when clinically appropriate • Manage acute urgent care complaints via telehealth • Assess risks associated with acute illness and determine need for in-person escalation • Diagnose acute and episodic conditions and develop differential diagnoses • Recognize complications and coordinate referrals to in-person care • Establish evidence-based treatment plans for virtual urgent care • Prescribe medications, diagnostics, and interventions according to telehealth clinical guidelines • Modify care plans based on follow-up, evolving symptoms, and patient needs • Document telehealth encounters in the EPIC EMR, including assessments, care plans, orders, and follow-up recommendations • Ensure documentation meets telehealth compliance, quality, and acuity-capture standards • Collaborate with clinical leadership, support staff, colleagues, and the greater healthcare network • Communicate virtual visit expectations, treatment plans, and follow-up to patients and families • Participate in telehealth training, education, and performance-improvement initiatives • Maintain CEUs, board certification, and professional memberships • Uphold Jefferson values and contribute to its virtual care model • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• DNP, MSN/MSRN, or PA equivalent • Master’s or Doctoral Degree (NP or PA) • Family Medicine–boarded NP or PA • ER or Urgent Care clinical experience • Residence in PA, NJ, or DE • Active licensure, or ability to obtain, in PA, NJ, and DE • Active Pennsylvania DEA required at the start of employment • Visa sponsorship not available • Prior telehealth experience preferred • Experience with high-acuity triage, virtual workflows, and remote diagnostic decision-making preferred • Maintain required CEUs, board certification, and professional memberships
