📋 Description

• Complete an approximately 30-minute written intake about professional accounting experience • Describe day-to-day accounting workflows and responsibilities • Explain how time is divided across different activities • Identify workflows and processes central to the respondent’s role • Describe distinctions between accounting specialties and areas of practice • Share practical distinctions that may not appear in textbooks or public resources • Highlight less visible aspects of accounting work that outsiders or project designers may overlook • Provide examples of tools, processes, judgment calls, and decision points • Help shape the scope and structure of upcoming accounting engagements • Inform future accounting research and AI-evaluation project design • Identify specialized accounting areas for future engagements • Improve matching and routing for opportunities aligned with professional expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Practicing or recently practicing accounting professional • Experience in public accounting, corporate accounting and finance, audit and assurance, tax, advisory, financial reporting, or technical accounting • CPA or equivalent professional accounting credential preferred • Deep practical experience in a specialized accounting domain highly valued, including without professional certification • Willingness to provide detailed, specific responses about accounting work mechanics and realities • Strong understanding of accounting workflows, professional standards, tools, and decision-making processes • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported
