📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve external theft, including shoplifting and organized retail crime • Gather, analyze, and evaluate intelligence on individuals and groups involved in organized retail crime • Thoroughly document information to support successful prosecution • Provide guidance to store Asset Protection teams on investigative plans • Operate the store CCTV system • Conduct undercover surveillances • Liaise between Weis Markets and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies • Refer cases to law enforcement for prosecution • Represent Weis Markets professionally in court hearings and mediations • Manage time and scheduling to meet company needs • Travel to multiple locations and provide investigative support • Partner with Store Management and associates to protect company assets • Support stores during significant business disruptions such as robberies, protests, and natural disasters • No direct supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Business, or related field preferred • One (1) year of retail loss prevention experience in a retail store environment • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights • Ability to travel to multiple locations within an assigned area
