📋 Description

• Serve as Wellvana’s Epic subject matter expert for partner organizations • Advise partner clinical, operational, and IT leaders on Epic configuration for value-based care • Conduct structured assessments of partner Epic environments and produce findings and phased optimization roadmaps • Design, build, test, and validate EHR workflows including Express Lanes, SmartSets, SmartPhrases, SmartLinks, flowsheets, questionnaires, and navigator sections • Optimize Annual Wellness Visit scheduling, outreach, pre-visit workflows, documentation, charge capture, and diagnosis capture • Configure Healthy Planet registries, health maintenance topics, care gaps, patient lists, BPAs, Reporting Workbench content, and dashboards • Translate HCC and clinical documentation requirements into EHR tooling • Create reusable build guides, configuration specifications, workflow documentation, training materials, and Epic turbocharger-style packages • Train and enable partner providers, care teams, analysts, and super-users • Coordinate with interoperability, population health, quality, coding, and clinical teams • Communicate technical recommendations and business impact to clinical, technical, and executive audiences • Establish intake, prioritization, delivery, change-control, service-tier, and measurement standards for the new function • Track pre- and post-engagement performance and report service impact • Maintain Epic certifications and monitor Epic roadmap, Foundation System, and CMS program changes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience, required • Active Epic Healthy Planet certification, required • Active EpicCare Ambulatory certification, required • Active Epic ClinDoc certification, required • Epic Compass Rose, Cheers, Cogito/Reporting Workbench, or Population Health accreditation, preferred • 3–6 years of hands-on Epic build and configuration experience in an ambulatory or population health setting • 2+ years supporting value-based care, ACO, or population health programs • Prior consulting, professional services, or multi-organization implementation experience, strongly preferred • Hands-on design, build, and testing across Healthy Planet, EpicCare Ambulatory, and ClinDoc • Experience with Express Lanes, SmartTools, flowsheets, questionnaires, and navigator configuration • Knowledge of registries, health maintenance topics, care gaps, patient lists, BPAs, and Reporting Workbench • Ability to work within partner change control, testing, and release processes • Working knowledge of MSSP, ACO REACH, Medicare Advantage, and commercial value-based care arrangements • Knowledge of MIPS/eCQM measures, HEDIS, Stars, HCC risk adjustment, and clinical documentation requirements • Understanding of front-office, clinical support, and provider workflows in independent and small-group primary care • Consultative advisory, solution packaging, training, technical documentation, project coordination, and executive presentation skills • Familiarity with HL7v2, C-CDA, FHIR, and ADT/lab feeds • Comfort interpreting performance data and using SQL or equivalent query tools • HIPAA compliance and secure handling of partner and patient data • Willingness to travel to partner sites as needed, estimated at up to 25%
