📋 Description

• Localize, transcreate and adapt music and media-related marketing content for maximum relevance, engagement and effectiveness in the target market • Write, review and optimize marketing-oriented copy across multimedia products, digital campaigns, promotional materials, apps and audience-facing communications • Perform regular linguistic review of personal work and work by other localization team members across all content types • Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy • Perform Localization QA testing of content published on live platforms, including music and app descriptions, marketing material and campaigns • Conduct market-specific research on local content treatment, product and terminology trends, and localization practices • Report on data and/or assets across a broad scope of media and content types • Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned market, advising on marketing language, local consumer preferences, media trends and culturally relevant messaging • Collaborate with the global language team through virtual meetings and email on content review tasks, terminology, style, trends and market-specific insights

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in Media Marketing, Music Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Marketing Localization, Creative Copywriting or related fields, with proof of writing samples or marketing content contributions • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content • Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies from a massive sea of content and make sound judgement calls based on information at hand • Deep familiarity with local media channels, marketing trends, digital platforms, entertainment industries and consumer culture within the target market • Ability to own the language market and make confident linguistic decisions • Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines • Fluency in written and verbal English • Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS systems a plus • Well capable of typing in their native-level language using a local (English) keyboard • Ability to work independently and remotely • Collaborative; enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment
