📋 Description

• Review one-line diagrams, equipment specifications, electrical calculations, design drawings, and technical studies for utility-scale BESS and inverter-based resource projects • Support engineering activities involving batteries, power conversion systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cables, grounding, protection, controls, and auxiliary power systems • Identify repetitive, manual, or inconsistent engineering workflows suitable for automation or internal software tools • Develop and maintain engineering applications, calculation tools, data-validation utilities, dashboards, and workflow automation • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software development, testing, documentation, and maintenance • Help develop responsible AI practices for engineering workflows, including technical validation, data handling, cybersecurity, and human review • Provide core electrical engineering support for utility-scale BESS and inverter-based resource projects • Modernize and scale engineering workflows through automation, internal software tools, and AI-assisted development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field) • 5+ years of engineering experience in power, energy, data center, or industrial infrastructure projects • Understanding of power system fundamentals: one-line diagrams, protection and controls, grounding, arc flash, and interconnection • Ability to validate software-generated engineering results against accepted calculations • Comfortable translating engineering processes into practical Python-based tools and web applications • Familiarity with AI-enabled development platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin, or similar technologies • Subject to applicable United States and other-country export control requirements
