📋 Description

• Manage the design of assigned transmission generation tie lines for Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage projects • Manage stand-alone transmission line projects from conception through construction and commissioning • Work within the Engineering & Construction Group • Direct engineering consultants performing line design • Define and influence project requirements and scope with the Development Group • Secure engineering consulting resources by developing scopes of work, securing bids, evaluating proposals, and awarding work through the Integrated Supply Chain Group • Coordinate with project stakeholders to develop and secure transmission routes • Support engineering data and permits required to design and build transmission lines • Source, select, and contract geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services • Support the E&C Cost Estimating Team with scope assumptions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering • Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in the development, design, engineering, and construction of High Voltage Transmission line projects • Technical competence to understand one-line and three-line diagrams, general arrangements, plan and profiles, and other common deliverables • Travel required within North America • Ability to work under United States and applicable export control regulations
