• Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial and industrial energy customers. • Build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services. • Manage client accounts through the full lifecycle, including contract renewals, procurement planning, and ongoing strategic discussions. • Conduct client reviews and communicate changing market conditions, pricing trends, and regulatory developments. • Advise clients on electricity and natural gas procurement strategies. • Evaluate supplier proposals and procurement options to help clients make informed purchasing decisions. • Support and manage competitive RFP processes for power and natural gas supply agreements. • Educate clients on market drivers, capacity costs, transmission charges, and pricing risks. • Assist customers with energy management initiatives, conservation efforts, demand response participation, curtailment programs, and other cost-reduction opportunities. • Generate new business opportunities through referrals, existing client relationships, chambers of commerce, industry associations, affinity partners, networking, and community engagement.
• Proven experience in consultative sales, business development, account management, client advisory services, financial services, insurance brokerage, energy sales, energy consulting, or a related customer-facing profession. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships. • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to understand and explain complex information to business decision-makers. • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, networking events, chamber activities, industry conferences, and partner engagements.
