📋 Description

• Provide specialized instruction on assigned topics aligned with course curriculum and best practices • Monitor course progress of an assigned group of learners and proactively offer support at key points of the student journey • Provide expertise in the assigned content area and maintain current knowledge • Foster student learning through innovative and effective teaching practices • Use technology-based teaching and communication platforms to support competency development • Interact with students in group and one-on-one settings • Collaborate with instructional and program faculty to ensure continuity and quality of student support • Collaborate with university professionals to promote a positive, student-focused atmosphere • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Must maintain an active and unencumbered Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license to practice dietetics-nutrition in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania • Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics/Nutritional Science, Public Health in Nutrition, or Dietetics Administration from an accredited institution • 2 years of higher education experience providing instruction support • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience • Availability for afternoon and evening hours, up to 10 hours per week • Occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits • Demonstrated ability to customize instructional support for learners with varied needs and educational backgrounds • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar applications, virtual instructional platforms, and student management systems • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully across varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds • Organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented • Ability to adapt to changing priorities • Initiative and ability to complete tasks independently • Ability to use data to make decisions • Understanding and adherence to competency-based education in the WGU model • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times • Primarily work from home within the continental United States and be available to travel to required meetings
