📋 Description

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and templates aligned with clients' brands and marketing goals • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to understand client requirements and design projects • Ensure websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive • Update and maintain existing WordPress websites • Fix bugs and implement new client-requested features • Perform routine website administration • Work with the development team to integrate designs with back-end code • Create custom PHP functionality for user personalization and notifications • Develop custom data integrations through APIs and present data in a user-friendly way

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year Associate's degree in web design, graphic design, or related field • 5+ years of experience designing websites with WordPress • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with responsive and adaptive design • Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices for designing WordPress websites • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Physically based in the Eastern Standard Time Zone or Central Time Zone • Must submit a resume, cover letter, and applicable portfolio • No sponsorship offered • Strong aesthetic sense and ability to translate designs into visually appealing and user-friendly websites • Proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and template design • Experience with debugging tools such as Firebug or Chrome Inspector • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Familiarity with Git or SVN • Ability to understand the impact of CSS changes across platforms and browsers • Experience with the WordPress block editor and ability to create custom blocks and patterns • Ability to create custom PHP-based functionality • Ability to work with custom data integrations through APIs • Attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards • Desire to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends • Figma or similar design tools experience preferred • Familiarity with a wide variety of page builders preferred
