📋 Description

• Draft and edit donor-facing communications and development content • Create adaptable content templates for multiple cities and tailor messaging for local contexts • Support fundraising-focused communications strategies to engage and retain donors • Develop compelling written content reflecting local impact and a national perspective • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging while working independently • Proofread and edit materials for accuracy, clarity, tone, and brand consistency • Explore visual storytelling through basic graphic design and video content • Support event preparation, coordination, and administrative activities • Manage LIFT’s day-to-day social media presence and content calendar • Write and edit monthly newsletters, blog posts, and annual reports • Copy edit external materials • Track relevant news, research, and field conversations to identify content opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Strong writing and editing skills • Ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content for donors, partners, and social media audiences • Experience or interest in development and fundraising communications, donor engagement, and mission-driven storytelling • Fluency with social media, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook • Experience maintaining a content calendar • Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment • High attention to detail and proofreading ability • Willingness to learn and grow skills in fundraising strategy, graphic design, and multimedia content such as video • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines, track tasks, and meet deadlines
