• Deliver Centralized Curriculum: Teach the standardized distance education curriculum according to an assigned schedule. • Engage Students: Facilitate discussion forums and interactive course posts to promote student interaction and engagement. Host weekly office hours. Complete weekly outreach to students. • Monitor Student Progress: Grade course activities and post grades weekly. Proactively track student performance and provide timely academic feedback. • Support Student Success: Create learning support tools tailored to students’ demonstrated needs. Provide academic feedback in a constructive, positive, and timely manner. Perform weekly outreach to support student success. • Maintain Professionalism: Adhere to policies, maintain an up-to-date faculty file, and communicate effectively with program leadership and students per established expectations and timelines. • Subject Matter Expert: For full-time Instructors, serve as a subject matter expert on curriculum projects and mentor new instructors, as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). • An equivalent of 15 semester credit hours in the subject field taught. • Academic preparation in the specific courses taught. • 3+ years’ occupational experience. • An industry certification/licensure if consistent with employment in the healthcare field of instruction (all certifications/licensures must remain active and be maintained as required by state and/or accrediting commissions). • Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in the assigned field of instruction.
