📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales support for Workiva’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions • Support discovery, technical qualification, roadmap-aligned selling, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and value-based messaging • Develop and demonstrate example solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept across current, emerging, and AI-enabled Workiva capabilities • Apply pre-sales frameworks including Demo2Win and MEDDIC • Respond to RFPs and engage customers and partners • Develop working knowledge of Public Sector industries, departments, and use cases • Partner with Sales on account plans, technical qualification, forecasting, and deal strategy • Conduct customer process assessments and build and present partner-specific business cases • Support smooth customer onboarding and long-term success with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services • Develop new use cases and demonstrate solution impact and value • Use AI to improve presales execution and responsibly position Workiva’s AI capabilities • Stay current on Workiva products, roadmap capabilities, platform enhancements, and market trends • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success • Maintain presales documentation, deal notes, Technical Win updates, opportunity support, expenses, and enablement requirements • Represent Workiva at marketing events, webinars, conferences, speaking engagements, and client-facing settings • May deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years with a Master’s degree; or 2 years with a PhD • GRC knowledge or strong aptitude and commitment to rapidly developing deep GRC domain expertise • Experience in the Public Sector space, including Federal, States, Local, Special Districts, Higher Education, or Nonprofit Healthcare • SaaS experience, preferably GRC SaaS experience in presales, implementation, or consulting • Experience in Big 4 consulting • Ability to gather business needs and present compelling, value-based software demonstrations • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems • Experience presenting to business or IT managers and executives, including CISO or infrastructure audiences • Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures • Experience with connectivity and integration technical concepts, including APIs • AI fluency and ability to use AI tools to improve presales execution and responsibly position AI capabilities • Experience building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignment • Experience applying structured selling or demonstration frameworks such as Demo2Win, MEDDIC, or similar methodologies • Experience supporting Technical Win validation, including decision criteria, solution fit, risks, blockers, and next steps • Experience supporting customer-facing events, webinars, conferences, roadshows, speaking engagements, or strategic demonstrations • Experience collaborating with product management teams to capture customer requirements and enhancements • Up to 40% travel • Reliable internet access while working remotely • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis • Workiva will not provide visa sponsorship
