• Engage in consultative conversations with client travelers to make accurate travel reservations and meet travel program needs • Maintain and foster relationships between World Travel, Inc. and its clients • Arrange complex domestic and international corporate travel, including air, car rental, hotel, ground transportation, and transfers • Advise travelers on international travel requirements and concerns • Apply client travel policies, guidelines, authorization requirements, and procedures • Counsel clients and travelers on safety considerations, government regulations, preferred suppliers, savings opportunities, and routing options • Research and resolve en-route traveler service concerns • Provide excellent customer service and use the company phone system effectively • Organize and process workload efficiently during designated shift times • Participate as a team member and assist with customer-servicing functions • Maintain passenger name records, profiles, ticketing, management information systems, productivity, attendance, and work accuracy • Ensure client coverage during emergencies and poor weather • Attend staff and training meetings for travel-industry, office-procedure, and company updates • Keep the immediate supervisor informed of potential problems and recommend corrective action • Maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and colleagues
• Proficient in Sabre Graphical/Classical and International • Ability to arrange complex domestic and international corporate travel, including air, car rental, hotel, ground transportation, and transfers • Knowledge of international travel requirements, including passports, visas, and inoculations • Thorough understanding of client travel policies, guidelines, authorization requirements, and procedures • Knowledge of airline rules and regulations, domestic tariffs, and other industry requirements • Knowledge of US Federal travel regulations and requirements pertaining to US government contractors, including FAR and Fly America • High competency operating a global distribution system (GDS) • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to work under pressure and independently • Strong customer service orientation, diplomacy, tact, and professional phone manner • Good judgment and effective time management • Must attend staff and training meetings, virtually or in person
