• Provide training, technical assistance, and resources to support Immigration Legal Services (ILS) practitioners • Coordinate training calendar for monthly webinars by planning topics and preparing webinars • Create practice advisories, templates, and other written resources • Curate legal updates, resources, training opportunities, and news clips for weekly e-newsletter • Participate in refining assessment tools for ILS programs • Answer legal questions from ILS practitioners in local offices and affiliates • Coordinate and assist with delivery of Basic Immigration Law Trainings
• Mature and personal Christian faith • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities • Valid drivers license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standards • Licensed attorney in a jurisdiction in the United States, and in good standing in all jurisdictions where admitted. • At least five years of recent experience in family-based and humanitarian-based immigration law. • Strong commitment to legal ethics and ability to keep information confidential. • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. • Up to 25% domestic travel • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects. • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment. • Ability to effectively and professionally work with individuals from many different backgrounds; able to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality. • Experience in trauma-informed practice. • Mentoring skills. • Training experience in virtual and in-person contexts.
