📋 Description

• Provide support and oversight of large, multinational projects • Direct large national or global projects, programs of projects, and complex projects concerning customer deliverables • Provide functional leadership, supervision, support, training, and mentoring to Project Managers • Direct project/program delivery within cost, time, and quality requirements across multiple divisions • Lead core project teams and facilitate leadership of extended project teams • Lead internal and external cross-unit coordination, including subcontractors • Define and manage project resource needs and contingency plans • Design, implement, track, and revise project plans • Promote effective teamwork and resolve conflicts • Communicate project-related matters with PM Management • Meet financial performance targets for assigned clinical projects • Ensure project deliverables meet company and client expectations • Initiate improvements to enhance efficiency and quality • Serve as key client contact for assigned projects and clients • Build relationships with client project teams and vendors • Ensure staff adhere to professional standards and clinical research SOPs • Collaborate with Business Development and Bids/Contracts on client presentations and proposals • Assist with resource utilization, policy development, and implementation of goals • Prepare and may conduct performance appraisals and salary reviews • Perform other duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical technology, or laboratory technology), or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of eight (8) years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience, including demonstrated skills and competency in clinical project management tasks • Alternatively, more than five (5) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting and six (6) years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO industry • Demonstrated track record of success in clinical development and leading and developing professional staff in a project-led environment • Proven experience developing and managing budgets and resources of a segment of the business • Experience using project management software • Experience conducting global clinical trials • Available for domestic and international travel, including overnight stays • Valid passport • Ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license • Fluent in the local office language and in English, both written and verbal • Broad knowledge of the drug development process and client needs • Strong leadership skills • Strong financial acumen • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability • Effective organizational and negotiation skills • Expert knowledge of project management principles and application • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management • Ability to work effectively in matrix organizations • Understanding of multicultural service organizations • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and directives • Process improvement skills, especially as applied to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management • Knowledge of medical therapeutic areas and medical terminology • Strong marketing and negotiation skills • Computer skills
