📋 Description

• Manage and direct the Project Management team within a therapeutic group • Ensure successful conduct of assigned projects • Recruit, train, develop and conduct performance reviews for personnel • Support strategy and acquisition of new business with business and senior management • Develop and maintain effective client relationships • Manage alliance partnerships and serve as WCT’s primary contact with sponsors where appointed • Lead sub-therapeutic groups when appointed • Oversee overall project financial performance across all departments • Oversee development, implementation and adherence to project plans and performance indicators • Conduct budget reviews and provide financial analysis support • Review and approve strategy, content and costing of new business proposals • Identify resource needs for new projects and meet resource management and utilization targets • Conduct project and sponsor relationship reviews • Facilitate resolution of sponsor relationship issues • Provide capabilities presentations and attend bid presentations • Ensure project deliverables meet sponsor and WCT expectations • Participate in company initiatives and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of twelve (12) years of global clinical pharmaceutical industry experience, including 8 years demonstrated skills and competency in clinical project management tasks and management of staff • Demonstrated ability to lead and line manage staff in a global environment • Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate personnel within a matrix system • Experience in managing global drug development programs • Proven ability to negotiate with clients in a professional manner • Available for domestic and international travel, including overnight stays • Valid Passport • Ability to drive and have a valid driver’s license • Fluent in local office language and in English, both written and verbal • Broad knowledge of drug development process and client needs • Demonstrated excellent leadership skills • Proven financial analytical skills • Sound planning and organizational skills • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English • Proven interpersonal skills • Understanding of clinical research principles and process • Ability to delegate effectively and prioritize own and project team members’ workloads • Cross-cultural awareness and ability to adapt appropriately • Strong marketing and negotiation skills • Experience creating and implementing new processes • Good computer skills
