📋 Description

• Assist investigators as coordinator of complex clinical research studies, potentially managing multiple studies simultaneously • Serve as liaison with the school, sponsoring agency, community, and study participants • Assist in developing research project plans and interpreting results with investigators • Collaborate on manuscripts, grant proposals, protocol amendments, and study design modifications • Coordinate development of forms, questionnaires, research techniques, and instructional procedure manuals • Review journals, abstracts, and scientific literature to support study planning • Implement, manage, and ensure timely completion of all study/protocol phases • Assist with participant recruitment plans and informed consent processes • Ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory agency requirements • Establish record-keeping systems and maintain study databases • Assess participant progress, record results, and analyze, investigate, and report adverse events • Resolve IRB and protocol management issues and recommend corrective actions • Liaise with funding or sponsoring agencies • Evaluate, analyze, and interpret moderately complex qualitative and/or quantitative data with the PI • Prepare oral or written presentations and reports on progress trends, recommendations, and conclusions • Support project aims, timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day research activities across multiple projects • Perform other incidental duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education • 2 years of Public Health work experience • Comfortable and willing to engage with patients and families experiencing serious illness • Ability to coordinate complex clinical research studies and manage study protocols • Ability to work with clinical and research partners • Ability to recruit and engage potential participants in informed consent processes • Ability to support study participation and facilitate timely completion of study measures • No specific certification or professional license required • Driver’s license not required • Preferred: 1 year of Public Health, Epidemiological, Behavioral Medicine, Psychological, Sociological, Anthropological, Clinical, or Urban Planning Research experience • Preferred skills: Clinical Research Management, Coordinating Programs, Data Management, Qualitative Analysis Software, Quantitative Analysis Software, Spreadsheets • Successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and applicable checks
