📋 Description
• Accurately coding complete and concurrent abstraction of oncology patient data. • Responsible for identifying and reporting quality discrepancies found in the EMR. • Case finding eligibility, abstracting cancer cases, staging, coding all treatment.
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Associate’s Degree in Health Science Field preferred. • Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR Certification) with required CE’s maintained. • One (1) year of experience as a CTR in a hospital cancer registry. • Experience with Cancer Treatment Guidelines.
