đź“‹ Description

• Manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivables for patients and insurance companies in the home medical equipment industry • Monitor and manage accounts receivable reports and resolve held or stopped claims • Submit claims within timely filing limits and address issues delaying reimbursement • Process and update insurance information for existing patients with continuous rentals or periodic resupply needs • Maintain recertifications, prescriptions, and prior authorizations for rental and resupply patients • Manage monthly hospice billing and quarterly medical equipment facility billing • Analyze denial trends and collaborate on projects to identify root causes and implement claim-resolution strategies • Monitor and verify oxygen cylinder issues, lot numbers, and quantities; report deficiencies and perform random audits • Support inventory management and ensure stock levels meet requirements • Communicate with vendors regarding shipments and issue resolution • Maintain records of serialized rental assets • Research special-order requests and parts for patient-owned equipment; provide pricing and HCPCS information for insurance-coverage determination • Track and report the concentrator preventive-maintenance program and Medicare rental billing • Manage oxygen, equipment, and supply recalls and communicate status until completion

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Current valid driver's license • Two years' experience working with collections, billing, or accounts receivable • Strong communication skills • Knowledge of current healthcare reform and reimbursement changes • Good interpersonal, organization, and leadership skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to perform some heavy lifting • Functional body mobility, handling and lifting ability, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination • Corrected vision and depth perception sufficient to read instruments and instructions and document accurately • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred
