📋 Description

• Evaluate model outputs for factual accuracy, logical coherence, fallacious reasoning, and hidden assumptions • Flag confident-sounding errors, anachronisms, misused sources, ideological slant, and claims that exceed the evidence • Create exemplary responses and datasets demonstrating intellectual honesty, careful source evaluation, and distinctions among primary evidence, secondary interpretation, and speculation • Steel-man opposing views before criticizing them and identify what is settled, contested, or unknown • Ground annotations and reference answers in primary sources and weigh secondary scholarship against them • Collaborate with engineering teams to design evaluation tasks, rubrics, and examples for Grok’s humanities behavior and personality • Help define precise, sourced, proportionately confident, and evidence-responsible model behavior on contested humanistic questions

🎯 Requirements

• Deep knowledge in at least one of: linguistics, history, classical studies, literature, poetry, philosophy, ethics, visual arts, or performing arts • Ability to assess arguments for validity, soundness, hidden premises, and category errors • Habitual reliance on primary sources and ability to weigh them against secondary literature • Ability to steel-man opposing views and separate settled knowledge from interpretation or speculation • Excellent analytical writing in English • Comfort working from evolving instructions to produce annotations, critiques, and reference answers consistently • PhD in a listed field or equivalent demonstrated scholarly depth (preferred) • Published analytical or rigorously sourced scholarship (preferred) • Experience in teaching, academic peer review, archival research, textual criticism, historiography, or formal argument analysis (preferred) • Familiarity with evaluating AI or LLM outputs, building benchmarks, or creating training data (preferred) • For personal-device users: Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later • Legal eligibility to work in the applicable location • Time-zone compatibility • No visa sponsorship available
