📋 Description

• Provide high-quality materials science data annotations, labels, and inputs to enhance Grok • Evaluate model outputs and identify errors in structure-property reasoning or processing assumptions • Produce clear, rigorous analyses and explanations • Use proprietary software to annotate and label data for designated projects • Support delivery of accurate, well-curated datasets meeting project standards • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and train new tasks • Improve the design, functionality, and efficiency of annotation tools and workflows • Guide AI models in solving complex materials science problems and support scientific discovery and practical applications • Select and solve problems across materials science subfields and critically evaluate AI-generated responses • Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks according to established guidelines and project requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in materials science, physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a highly related field • English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher • Specialized expertise in one or more materials science subfields, including energy materials, semiconductors, nanomaterials, metals and alloys, biomaterials, polymers, elastomers, ceramics, glasses, or other interdisciplinary materials-related fields • Advanced materials science expertise demonstrated through multiple publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals or relevant patents, preferably including first-author publications • Strong research skills and ability to navigate scientific literature, specialized databases, and online information resources • Strong reading comprehension and critical-thinking skills, with ability to exercise sound independent judgment when working with limited information • Previous experience in AI tutoring, AI model evaluation, or related artificial intelligence applications preferred • Teaching or tutoring experience preferred • Experience in technical writing, science journalism, scientific communication, or other professional writing roles preferred • Must be able to work in one of the listed eligible countries • No visa sponsorship available • US-based candidates cannot be located in Wyoming or Illinois
