📋 Description

• Complete tasks spanning installation, startup, functional and performance testing, training, project closeout, warranty transition, service, and aftermarket contracts • Modify PLC software when needed • Identify service requirements and manage site resources to complete activities on time • Manage other suppliers or Xylem resources onsite as needed • Conduct Total Care equipment condition audits and identify service opportunities • Troubleshoot customer equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and arrange parts and service to resolve problems • Collaborate with customers and Xylem internal teams to resolve requests, complaints, and observations • Review project specifications, designs, and scope of supply to streamline onsite service completion • Identify unmet customer needs and propose innovative parts, service, and PMA contract opportunities • Expand Xylem’s footprint across customer facilities, including sister brands and competitor installations • Prepare, organize, and conduct onsite equipment-operation, safety, and preventative-maintenance training • Complete and submit weekly activity reports and associated documentation • Identify modifications to product or project documentation and communicate them for review and approval • Review budgeted hours, forecast service labor, and manage site hours within budget • Ensure onsite equipment meets safety, quality, company, and project specifications • Follow all Environmental Safety & Health policies • Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities • Travel frequently, exceeding 75%, to fulfill job duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with Ozone oxidation process equipment in municipal or industrial water or wastewater fields is a plus • Ability to read and understand Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID diagrams), including hydraulic profiles, piping, gas diffusion, pumps, valves, supports, and skids • Training and repair service experience with instrumentation such as flow meters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, and dew-point analyzers • Experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, power distribution panels, conduit and cable trays, grounding, three-phase network configuration, harmonics and distortion, IEEE, and NEC • Experience with PLC and HMI controls and networks, online debugging, network troubleshooting, SCADA interfaces, I/O hardware and software configuration and testing, cross-referencing, searching, and code debugging • General knowledge of UL and CSA • Ability to conduct training sessions and presentations for customer operators, technicians, and maintenance staff • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • More than 75% travel within the US and Canada • Ability to acquire and maintain a US or Canadian driver’s license and passport • Strong internal and external customer focus and interaction • Green Belt Certification preferred or willingness to acquire • Ability to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility • Dexterous use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment • Ability to occasionally lift or transport up to 35 pounds • Close vision ability required
