📋 Description

• Own commercial data products end-to-end, from methodology development and product QA to feature design and ongoing product evolution • Develop deep expertise in product functionality and the investment workflows it supports • Investigate complex data quality issues across upstream datasets, product methodologies, and downstream customer outputs • Build scalable monitoring, validation, and QA frameworks to improve quality and reduce manual effort • Work with Product Managers, Data Science, and Central Data to identify new methodologies, datasets, forecasting capabilities, AI-powered features, and product offerings • Analyze internal and third-party datasets to evaluate accuracy, coverage, and customer value • Design experiments, quantify tradeoffs, and determine what belongs in production • Partner with Product Managers and Client Strategy, and work directly with investors to translate feedback into product improvements • Leverage AI agents, automation, and evaluation frameworks to improve QA, documentation, methodology development, and customer-facing analytical experiences • Identify opportunities to create new analytical capabilities, improve client workflows, and expand customer interaction with data products • Collaborate with Engineering, Quant Research, and other cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics • Background in financial services, consulting, data science, product analytics, or another environment where complex data informs high-stakes decisions • Advanced SQL skills • Experience using Python or PySpark to build reliable, reusable analytical workflows • Ability to build products and think about how information should be packaged, delivered, and experienced by customers • Ability to develop mental models for complex datasets and reason through ambiguity to identify root causes and improve methodologies • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects involving Product, Engineering, or analytical stakeholders • Ability to balance rigor with pragmatism and make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, and long-term product value • Experience working with messy, evolving datasets and creating structure, repeatability, and confidence in complex systems • Ability to communicate technical concepts, methodologies, assumptions, and tradeoffs to technical teammates and business stakeholders • Active use of AI tools and interest in changing how analytical products are built • Must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship • Must be located within the United States for remote work
