📋 Description

• Provide operational leadership and executive administrative support for the South Central Camping Coordinator and Director of Guest Services • Provide high-level administrative, operational, relational and strategic support to divisional leadership • Represent the Camping Coordinator’s office with professionalism, discretion, hospitality and organizational leadership • Support development, documentation and implementation of national Guest Services standards • Translate operational insight into scalable systems, processes and training resources • Provide opportunities for staff spiritual growth and develop personal and department spiritual growth plans • Establish service-oriented department systems and train staff in exceptional customer service • Administer reservations for Young Life and non-Young Life groups • Coordinate reservation contracts, policies and summer volunteers • Serve as camp HR Lead, maintaining personnel files, onboarding employees and tracking leave records • Coordinate camp accounting processes, financial accounts, reports, reconciliations and cash deposits • Create and manage the Administrative department budget • Evaluate and update department systems and processes • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, development and evaluations • Maintain office reception standards and follow national administrative policies • Maintain weekly camper usage, bed count and meal count statistics • Coordinate summer camp guest, volunteer and assigned-team arrivals and departures • Travel as required for both responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Profess belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord • Subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff policies • BA/BS degree or equivalent life experience • Experience with Young Life as a staff person or volunteer • 4–6 years administrative, project management or similar experience • Ideal candidate: 5–7 years of Young Life Camp Staff experience, preferably at department head level • Spiritual maturity, wisdom and discernment • Experience training and leading teams • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks • Fluency with Microsoft Office applications • Ability to learn and use Young Life internal systems • Ability to travel as required • Ability to convey Christ-like hospitality and concern for guests and staff • Ability to work with and minister to volunteer high school and college-age young people
