📋 Description

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan fostering spiritual development • Participate in church community and the spiritual life of the Young Life community • Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development • Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership • Recruit and train new leaders and build a leadership team • Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping • Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices • Communicate ministry updates to personal donor partners • Assist with camp fundraisers and attend committee and adult functions as assigned • Conduct contact work and participate in Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry • Help implement summer and school-season camping strategies • Potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property • Follow Young Life policies and procedures and maintain professionalism • Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals • Assist with office administration and complete expense reports • Perform other duties assigned according to gifts, experience, and area needs • Attend required regional training when directed • Complete area assignments under area director or mentor supervision • Receive individualized training in spiritual maturity, character, and ministry skills • Learn personal fundraising principles and participate in Young Life discipleship experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a college degree • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord • Must subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff policies • Must be ready, willing, and able to fulfill required ministry functions • Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from Young Life’s biblical standards • Must abide by Young Life policies and practices, including those related to religious belief or ministry activities
