📋 Description

• Build systems and operating conditions that enable a small team to run a national insurance platform. • Identify and remove bottlenecks across functions. • Lead new product launches from kickoff through independent operation. • Translate product strategy into clear specifications for pricing, data, and engineering. • Set build order with engineering and data teams and maintain priorities amid competing demands. • Enable underwriting and pricing experts to enter rules and judgment directly into systems. • Maintain consistent terminology across systems, models, and teams. • Establish rapid, accurate feedback from policies, claims, and lost deals. • Create and manage change-control processes for coverage, rules, and pricing changes. • Identify issues during testing before they reach customers. • Migrate existing programs onto shared infrastructure instead of one-off setups. • Use AI daily in operational work and improve process efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years solving complex problems through process and product development, or a clear track record of taking on more scope and responsibility over time. • Systems thinker who builds scalable solutions rather than one-off fixes. • Exceptional project management and documentation skills; ability to run multiple workstreams without dropping detail. • Self-starter mindset; comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment. • Real, daily comfort working with AI agents, including delegating to them, checking their work, and improving them. • Ability to automate tasks early and consistently. • Evidence of grit and persistence. • Insurance background is a plus, not a requirement; exposure to policy forms, rate and rule filings, or SERFF is a bonus, not a prerequisite.
