📋 Description

• Support military spouses through the Military OneSource Military Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) Program • Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center environment • Receive initial calls through live handoffs using call center technology • Receive incoming live chats • Assess military spouses’ needs and provide individualized Government-approved resources • Provide education and career advising • Recommend online and distance education and training opportunities • Educate spouses about financial assistance resources • Assist spouses with understanding Federal, state, and local occupational licensing • Provide credentialing information for select career fields • Schedule career coaching appointments • Troubleshoot website access associated with SECO programs • Assist with administration of a Department of Defense military spouse scholarship program • Maintain the government-provided case management system, spouse profiles, and scholarship accounts • Connect military spouses with academic and employment opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 4+ years of professional experience providing high-quality, in-depth educational, career, or employment advising or coaching to diverse adult populations • 3 years of experience in training development and delivery, public speaking, group presentation, and facilitation, preferably in adult education or medical/non-medical settings • 2 years of experience supervising or overseeing the delivery of social services and/or education programs, systems, and services • U.S. Citizenship due to U.S. Government systems access • Home broadband internet service exceeding 3 Mb upload and download speeds • Strong technology and research skills • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously • Strong communication skills and active listening ability • Critical thinking skills to connect clients with applicable resources • Ability to accommodate a full-time training schedule during the first 6–8 weeks of employment • Must have a home office setup • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds • Preferred: active certification through NAWDP, NBCC, or NCDA • Preferred: contact center or educational service operations experience • Preferred: former Military, Military Spouse, Veteran, or Wounded Warrior experience • Preferred: experience in a structured environment with set schedules • Preferred: ability to build rapport remotely/virtually
