📋 Description

• Complete a comprehensive approximately three-month in-field and classroom training program • Travel to customer sites in the region • Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments • Work hands-on with high-tech CMMs using mechanical and electronic aptitude • Document service work and maintain accurate service records • Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced and innovative environment • Travel 70–90% in the region • Work in Torrington, Connecticut and the surrounding area

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate, completed GED or equivalent • Alternatively, tech school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics • Alternatively, training and experience from a Military Technical School • Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment • Microsoft operating system knowledge required • Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds • Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week, regular plus overtime • Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment • Valid driver license required
