📋 Description

• Engineer mobile mechanical systems for oil and gas applications, including hydraulic equipment, mobile lifting systems, and field-service machinery • Enhance reliability and efficiency for high-pressure, high-load, and high-cycle environments • Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor, Pro-E, or SolidWorks • Test and refine equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards • Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement • Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, field teams, fabricators, and field technicians • Lead design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile mechanical systems for drilling, completions, well intervention, and field operations • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, field-ready solutions • Travel to customer sites and fabrication facilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment • Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, Pro-E, SolidWorks) • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, power units, and mechanical assemblies • Proven ability to manage projects from concept through deployment • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Ability to work remotely within the USA, with the role specified for the Midwest states listed • Willingness to travel approximately 10% annually, with up to 55% travel to customer and client sites stated elsewhere in the posting
