📋 Description

• Design full-course curricula for middle school science subjects, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans • Develop student-facing lessons, problem sets, labs, projects, real-world applications, homework, and formative and summative assessments • Ensure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes • Embed inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving • Design assessments measuring content mastery and application of skills • Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers • Use educator feedback and student performance data to iterate and improve curriculum materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • At least three years of experience designing and/or teaching high-quality secondary science instruction • Proven record of developing rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curriculum • Knowledge of New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes • Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
