📋 Description

• Define and execute the Manufacturing Informatics business strategy aligned with company growth objectives • Develop market propositions across MES, EBR, Manufacturing Intelligence, Digital Manufacturing, LIMS/ELN integration, OT/IT integration, and Industry 4.0 • Identify target markets, accounts, partnerships, and emerging opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry • Build and manage the sales pipeline and revenue forecast • Establish bookings, revenue, margin, and growth targets • Develop go-to-market strategies for new services, solutions, and accelerators • Identify geographic expansion and new customer segment opportunities • Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and manufacturing technology providers • Own the sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract closure • Develop relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders • Lead customer discovery sessions, account strategies, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, presentations, solution workshops, and commercial negotiations • Develop value propositions and business cases demonstrating customer outcomes • Build strategic accounts and long-term managed-service and transformation engagements • Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer forums, and executive meetings • Provide thought leadership across MES, EBR, manufacturing transformation, integrations, OT/IT, serialization, digital manufacturing, data platforms, cloud architectures, and AI/ML applications • Connect manufacturing needs, technology strategy, regulatory requirements, and implementation execution • Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Informatics organization • Develop organizational structures, competency models, career paths, and succession plans • Recruit and retain MES, EBR, manufacturing technology, solution architecture, and consulting professionals • Develop future leaders and technical SMEs • Establish a culture focused on customer value, innovation, accountability, quality, and commercial performance • Define the innovation roadmap and develop accelerators, frameworks, and intellectual property • Evaluate AI, automation, analytics, digital twins, cloud technologies, and intelligent manufacturing for business value, cybersecurity, GxP compliance, data integrity, and operational risk • Own or contribute to the Manufacturing Informatics P&L • Establish and manage financial, utilization, profitability, operating plan, and budget targets • Monitor pipeline, backlog, revenue forecast, and resource demand • Drive gross margin and delivery-efficiency improvements • Evaluate investments based on ROI • Provide regular business performance updates to executive leadership • Deliver growth, profitability, customer, and operational KPIs including revenue growth, bookings, pipeline coverage, new logos, account expansion, margin, EBITDA/contribution margin, delivery productivity, utilization, customer satisfaction/NPS, renewals, account penetration, executive relationships, and referenceable customers

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing Informatics, MES, Digital Manufacturing, Life Sciences IT, Manufacturing IT, or related consulting/services environments • Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing organizations • Significant experience in MES/EBR and manufacturing digital transformation • Proven track record in business development and consultative selling • Experience managing large and complex manufacturing technology programs • Ability to build and manage senior customer relationships • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and global delivery models • Experience with financial management, forecasting, utilization, margins, and P&L/business-unit management is strongly preferred • Experience with RFPs, proposals, solution architecture, commercial negotiations, and contract management • Strong understanding of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulated manufacturing environments • Strong understanding of one or more of Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk / PharmaSuite, Körber Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade, MasterControl, SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP ERP, or Oracle Manufacturing
