📋 Description

• Shape the technical product direction and roadmap for Zillow’s shared agent platform • Translate product and customer needs into clear technical requirements • Onboard 2–3 flagship experience teams, define graduation criteria, and scale to the next wave • Make open architecture decisions with named deciders and dates • Turn cross-organizational dependencies into explicit commitments with owners, capacity ranges, re-plan dates, and exit criteria • Bridge traditional engineering with agentic science and data needs • Guide source-of-truth debates, schema decisions, facts-versus-inferences discussions, and hill-climbing processes • Define and instrument platform success using reuse, time-to-first-agent, cost per team, and experience coherence metrics • Maintain and openly share a list of what the platform is not building • Partner with product managers, engineers, scientists, Core Tech, and experience teams across Zillow

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field • 10+ years in product management, including platform or infrastructure products whose customers were other product and engineering teams • Hands-on depth with LLM and agentic systems: orchestration, context engineering, memory and RAG, and eval design • Track record of driving adoption through influence across organizations with different incentives and roadmaps • Ability to write concise, compelling, decision-forcing docs at SVP level and run execution beneath them • Comfort with ambiguity and contested ownership • Ability to bring together engineering, science, and domain teams and turn differing viewpoints into better decisions • Data mesh or federated data platform experience (nice to have) • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing on AI features (nice to have) • Consumer marketplace or two-sided product experience (nice to have) • U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions
