📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of applied machine learning models and algorithms • Perform problem formulation, data exploration, experimentation, evaluation, and productionization • Architect scalable pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and model serving • Conduct offline analyses and online experiments to evaluate model performance • Interpret results and recommend data-driven improvements to product experiences and business metrics • Translate business needs into scientific requirements and technical roadmaps • Implement responsible AI practices, including model monitoring and fairness and bias checks • Mentor and coach applied scientists and engineers • Develop ranking, recommendation, and generative AI systems for Zillow’s home-shopping experience

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field • 8+ years of experience applying machine learning or advanced statistical modeling in an industry setting • Experience delivering models into production environments • Experience with large-scale data sets • Experience with experimentation or A/B testing • Experience with model performance measurement for consumer or enterprise products • Demonstrated success collaborating in cross-functional teams • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted • U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions
