📋 Description

• Drive the development and execution of complex sourcing strategies for high-impact categories • Manage spend and supplier relationships • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver value with strategic suppliers • Lead sourcing projects and mentor team members • Champion process improvements and supplier sustainability initiatives • Conduct daily sourcing activities, including contract negotiation, market research, and supplier relationship management • Build supplier relationships to encourage innovation and optimize value and enterprise risk • Align with business units on supplier strategy and develop plans to add value • Drive the Negotiation Planning Process and maintain updates on negotiation status, risks, blockers, and escalations • Lead contract negotiations with Legal, Business Leadership, Strategic Sourcing, FP&A, Workforce Management, Procure to Pay, and Strategic Operations • Work with Finance to optimize, consolidate, and calibrate sourcing and procurement strategy • Develop and implement standard supplier agreements, amendments, supplier management best practices, and professional-services sourcing practices • Lead complex and commodity sourcing requests and events, including RFx processes, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management for $15M+ annual total contract value • Identify savings and supplier optimization opportunities while considering risk, supplier mix, and innovation • Collaborate on Supplier Business Reviews, scorecarding, supplier qualification, and onboarding • Advise business stakeholders as a strategic sourcing resource • Report on long-term goals and objectives using baselines and metrics through monthly and quarterly procurement deal roadmap reviews • Cultivate relationships across all organizational levels to identify strategic third-party solutions • Present findings, strategies, solutions, metrics, and progress to executive leadership • Apply data analysis and stakeholder feedback to evaluate impacts on suppliers, customers, and Zillow Group • Provide data-driven communications and recommendations • Educate stakeholders and suppliers on policy and guideline compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible related experience in a similar strategic sourcing/procurement role • Strong understanding of technology, marketing, outsourcing services, complex consulting/advisory services, and related agreements • Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrable track record of high performance • Proficiency with sourcing and contract management software solutions • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle ad-hoc sourcing work • Understanding of total cost of ownership, root causes, and systemic problems/opportunities • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet timelines • Extensive experience developing and running sophisticated source selection processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and auctions • Ability to influence partners through communications and presentations • Strong organizational, customer service, interaction, verbal communication, and written communication skills • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences and leadership levels • Sense of urgency and attention to detail • Preferred experience leading indirect sourcing strategies for People/HR organizations • Preferred experience with enterprise-scale People/HR technology solutions, including HCM, ATS, LMS, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management • Preferred experience advising senior People/HR and People Technology leadership • Preferred experience partnering with executive-level People and Technology stakeholders • Preferred experience driving complex, cross-functional People/HR sourcing initiatives • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred • Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CSP, CPSM, CPM, ITIL, APICS, and PMI certifications • Knowledge of procurement tools such as ZIP and Workday Strategic Management • Strong Tableau, Excel, and AI proficiency with advanced data analytics and reporting experience preferred
