📋 Description

• Provide technical support for assigned accounts within Zoetis Pork • Provide technical expertise for strategic pork producer, veterinary, and prospect accounts • Work with account managers to develop strategic account plans maximizing Zoetis sales • Develop intimate knowledge of customers’ business models • Call on pork producers, veterinarians, dealers, consultants, and distributor representatives to provide scientific support • Provide technical training and education to colleagues within the Zoetis pork business unit • Advise on routine technical inquiries and assist team members • Provide animal health and production solutions based on customer needs and a sales approach • Apply veterinary solutions to individual customer needs and promote long-term Zoetis relationships • Build relationships with veterinarians, nutritionists, extension and university personnel, pork processors, and consultants • Collaborate with Area Business Managers to develop and execute Area Operations Plans • Develop strategies focused on targeted accounts critical to business or area success • Create and execute customer-focused business development plans identifying growth opportunities and allocating budgets and resources • Contribute to team selling by planning call cycles and ensuring account follow-up • Conduct product, program, and service training for internal and external audiences using presentation tools such as PowerPoint • Advise Learning and Development on technical training content • Provide specialty support to other areas or businesses as directed • Participate in special projects and tactical implementation, including sales material reviews and new product launch teams • Document activities and customer interactions accurately and promptly • Manage the STOMP diagnostic budget and report diagnostic outcomes to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent • Two (2) years post-doctoral experience in clinical practice, academia, research or industry • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail • Current in assigned areas of veterinary medicine and pork production management • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Proficient computer skills (MS Office and the ability to learn Zoetis’s internal systems) • Valid driver’s license • Willingness to drive to customer locations across defined geography – Producer, Clinic & Processing Facilities • Preferred: Two (2) years or more private practice experience • Preferred: Proven record of accomplishments demonstrating successful veterinary practice management, strategy execution experience and leadership • Preferred: Ability to exercise good judgment; make thoughtful and fair decisions based on relevant information • Preferred: Research experience, published scientific papers • Preferred: Ability to think and act strategically • Preferred: Extensive knowledge of Zoetis pork products and the animal health industry or ability to learn quickly • Preferred: Ability to interact with and influence senior management, peers, and other functions • Preferred: Multilingual, particularly Spanish and English
